Silent Companion

So... to explain the title, I had been watching the BBC series Sherlock, and in the episode, Sherlock had explained to Watson that he had the skull to talk to because people would think him less crazy than if he was talking to himself as he was in the habit of doing... which is completely nonsensical of course. It gave me the idea to draw the skull and the hands holding it. The hands are feminine as I am terrible at drawing manly looking hands.

This is another charcoal and pencil piece which left me covered up to my elbows in charcoal, which is due to my lack of talent with charcoal but oh well; I still find it a fun medium.
